KEN LUDWIG'S
A FOX ON THE FAIRWAY Henry Bingham, executive director of the Quail Valley Country Club, is in a bind. Not only is his newly hired hand, Justin, in love with the club's waitress, Louise, but the golfer he thought would play for his club in a high stakes tournament has defected to his nemesis, Dickie Bell. Fortunately, Justin happens to be a very good golfer and takes the lead, but becomes unglued when he discovers Louise has lost the engagement ring he gave her. Complicating matters are Henry's wife, Muriel, who finds him a little too close to his lascivious vice-president, Pamela – who just happens to be Dickie's ex-wife. A tribute to the great English farces of the '30s and '40s, A Fox On the Fairway is madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with...golf.
